PROBLEM ANALYSIS
Stratowave Connect is a Croatian drone technology startup developing an advanced solution for communication and surveillance. When they approached us, the goal was clear: design and build a professional website, even though there were no product photos, no marketing materials, and no finalized content.
The drone was still in development, and the only available texts were technical documents pulled from patent applications. This presented a unique challenge – how do you design a website that tells a compelling story when the product doesn’t yet exist?
HOW WE SOLVED IT
Instead of hiding the lack of visuals, we turned the limitation into a creative advantage. We came up with the idea to design the entire website using a blueprint aesthetic – inspired by technical drawings typically used in engineering.
This approach resulted in a website design without photos, centered around a custom line drawing of the drone, presented in white against a deep blue background. The website looks like a technical draft – fitting for a project that’s still being engineered – and aligns perfectly with the startup’s identity as a forward-thinking tech innovator.
